this program should be adopted by all other cities. i think this is a very worthy project.
We have this in The Netherlands as well, I think it's a very good thing.
Free access to museums and cultural sites would be a welcome change here.
I love Doors Open! This year I only managed one day in Toronto and chose the west end.
This is a great idea! I never heard of it before. I, too, think that all cities should adopt this idea.
We don't have an Open Doors scheme - thought we should - but we have an Open Gardens scheme - where gardens are open in Spring that are not usually accessible to the public. This includes gardens of celebrities!
Pickering had it's first one last fall. I found the tour very interesting.
They do have sometimes, not on a regular basis. But only a few.
We have "Heritage Open Days" usually the first or second weekend in September.
I weint to a few Doors Open Events. I think its a Great Idea!
